Service - We deliver solutions which are effective, timeous and demonstrate attention to detail.
Trust - Our clients trust in our legal expertise and integrity.

We don’t regard our clients as sources of income but as real people deserving of proper and cost effective legal solutions. We created our firm with the intention of getting back to basics (symbolised by our logo), providing a superior quality legal service to our clients, and keeping our overheads low and fees reasonable. We subscribe to the following five core values, notaries and conveyancers based in Westville, which are based on Christian principles and are at the heart of everything that we do:.
firm of attorneys, KwaZulu-Natal. We have chosen to remain small and focused on our clients’ needs. Our unconventional and professional approach sets us apart from many other legal firms and ensures that your matters will be dealt with in a personal manner and at a fair fee.
Excellence - Our clients deserve nothing less.

Our clients deserve an outstanding and effective litigation service tailored to that client’s individual personal and commercial needs. Advice on the Companies Act, 2008 and in particular, how this Act affects existing companies and close corporations. As a founding member of the Imber Group of law firms, we are able to refer clients who may require assistance with labour law, family law, intellectual property law, or criminal law, to trusted colleagues who will be able to assist. The needs of individuals and businesses differ and we can assist in both contexts. A client will be an individual, an employee, a sole proprietor, a partnership, a close corporation, a company or a trust. It is important for that client to understand that client’s rights and obligations in relation to third parties and who is authorised to represent that client in concluding agreements. We can assist clients by registering various forms of companies, drafting partnership agreements, members’ association agreements, shareholders agreements and trust deeds. We can assist our clients with the drawing and vetting of co-ownership agreements and lease agreements (including CPA-compliant and notarial lease agreements). We can also advise our clients on a range of issues relating to operating a business. Where our client is a franchisee, we can advise our client of its rights and obligations in terms of the franchise agreement and in terms of the Consumer Protection Act (see our Consumer Law page for more details on how we can assist with Consumer Protection Act issues). Many businesses operate on an informal basis and agreements are often verbal or unclear. Other contracts relating specifically to companies and close corporations (see our Company Law page) We welcome queries from our clients in respect of their particular situation and requirements. In addition to drafting trust deeds and advising on the rights and obligations of trustees and beneficiaries, we are well positioned to represent you in a personable and efficient manner both in settlement negotiations and thereafter\. Contractual disputes between the Body Corporate and service level providers such as private contractors. If you have a bad tenant, having to evict that tenant can be traumatic, especially where residential property is concerned. If you are a landlord, we can assist you with evictions, either in the Magistrates Court where judgment is granted and a subsequent PIE eviction order obtained (for residential evictions), or ejectment proceedings in the High Court where a quicker remedy is available if the circumstances warrant it. Leases are often fraught with disputes and it is sometimes difficult to interpret a poorly-worded lease. We can assist you with interpreting your lease and represent you in lease disputes, whether this takes the form of mediation, negotiation or litigation, to ensure a cost-effective, quick resolution. Given the experience of our professionals in this area of law, we are also able to review your commercial or residential lease and suggest amendments, if appropriate, to reduce the risk of future disputes. The prospect of going to court in a litigation matter can be daunting, whether you are the plaintiff or the defendant. We offer experienced, capable, and efficient legal representation in various forums and on various matters, both delictual and contractual. As soon as possible after taking instructions, we aim to give you a full assessment of the matter from a legal and commercial perspective, advise on the prospects of success should you decide to pursue or defend the matter, and prepare thoroughly to represent you in any hearing. If a company gets into financial difficulty, it can b
