The Association is an employers’ organisation registered in terms of the Labour Relations Act and exists to represent the interests of members, as well as to provide them with specialist support services to assist them in the successful running of their businesses. The membership comprises some 730 enterprises involved in the building industry and related activities in the province of KwaZulu Natal. The organisation has been in existence for 115 years and is recognised and respected by a wide range of role players in the building industry and beyond. The Association provides a range of services to members including training, contractual and legal assistance, occupational health and safety consulting, employee benefits schemes, member discounts and a lot more. In order to deliver on the mandate of providing benefits to members, the Associations is involved in a range of commercial activities which complement the operations of members. Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal also offers a range of services to the public, including the find-a-builder and find-a-supplier online directories, access to useful information and assistance with dispute resolution. The Association continually strives for excellence in both in the general association activities as well as the products and services offered by the commercial divisions. The KwaZulu Natal Master Builders Association appreciates how important it is, for those operating within the Construction Industry, to source and submit tenders. As a service to our members, we do extensive research across the province, and upload tender notices on a daily bases pertaining to Civil, Electrical and Construction. The data extracted is carefully compiled and placed in an easily accessible and easy to read Format. Contractors face not only numerous challenges relating to their operational and financial requirements but must also work within a complicated contractual, technical and legal environment. When trouble arises it is comforting to know that assistance is only a phone call away.The Master Builders Association employs the expertise to provide the authoritative assistance you may need, in times of difficulty. He is also available to visit sites if necessary.The Association's policy, is to facilitate the resolution of disputes by negotiation rather than through expensive and often unnecessary legal process.
