Redesign-Interiors is an design firm directed by Interior Designer Paige Waplington. Paige has an undying passion for the benefits and impact interior design has on the built environment. “ I believe that every interior has a direct impact on the people that use it. CONCEPT DESIGNThe first step of our Design Services is Concept Design. At Concept Design Stage we collaborate all our ideas and inspirations together with the clients to create a platform from which to work with. We look at inspirational images, samples of fabrics and materials, source furniture and fittings, and design bespoke pieces to match the interior.The best time to start with this process is at the same time as designing the architecture of the building. We then collaborate with the architect and design a space that relates to the architects designs too, creating a holistic experience.
If it is a decorating or renovation project we can start at any time. We will work with your existing structure and suggest the best alterations to get the interior of your dreams.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENTStep 2 of our Interior Design Services focuses on Design Development. Moving on from the concept design stage is the development stage. It is at this point that we gather and work on the all the technical information required to arrange detailed quotes and quantities for all the respective artisans who will be working on the project. This technical information includes drawings (floor plans, ceiling plans, detailed shopfitting drawings), specifications and schedules.This stage is one of the most important stages in getting the timing and budgets correct and maintained on any project. Without the above it would be difficult for anyone to complete a project to its original design.
INTERIOR DESIGN PROCUREMENTWe offer Interior Design Procurement services for any Interior Design project.Redesign Interiors has been fortunate enough to create lasting relationships with many artisans and suppliers in the industry allowing us the ability to ensure good quality products, delivered on time and to our high expectations.As part of our Interior Design Procurement services we handle all payments, deliveries, negotiations, and quality control, allowing the client to continue with what they know best. Procurement is hugely time consuming and has a direct effect on the project if not handled correctly. If one item doesn’t arrive on time, the entire process can be delayed.
INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT MANAGEMENTYears of Interior Design Project Management experience has taught us that clear communication between clients, contractors and artisans is of the utmost importance when working through project management. We have an amazing team that we have built up and worked with over the years. They understand what we expect from them and we understand how to plan the project to best suit everyone. It is with this team that we can run a project according to deadline every time.We also take on other teams and manage them with careful attention to everyone’s needs and timelines. Again clear communication in this area is paramount. We work with clear contracts (recommended by the Master Builders Association) in place so everyone knows exactly what they need to do and when they need to do it. Giving the client peace of mind.
